Kevin and Sunny’s Wedding

After a two-year engagement, Kevin and Sunny were married at a beautiful beach-side resort in Los Cabos, Mexico. I had the honor of not only being a groomsman, but also a second photographer! My job was to complement the main photographer with additional scenes and angles.

It was all sunshine and smiles at this destination wedding. We started out with the groomsmen getting ready (obviously I’m not in these shots!), followed by a dreamy first look by the resort’s spa. After the ceremony, we proceeded to the reception on the deck overlooking the ocean shore for dinner, toasts, first dance, and cake cutting.

My favorite shots of the day came from the dance party! These rowdy med school student-filled crowd danced all night. Taking good photos under multicolored lights in the dark was quite a challenge, but when everything clicked, the moments captured are simply too magical for words.
