Balaji and Ayesha
Post-wedding photoshoot
Balaji and Ayesha reached out to me to ask about a post-wedding photoshoot. They had gotten married a few weeks earlier but due to COVID, it was done virtually, and they didn’t get an opportunity to take engagement photos beforehand. I was super excited and met up with them on an early morning in San Francisco to catch the gentle morning sunshine on the beach.
I love taking photos at Baker Beach. Despite its popularity, you can always find a clean stretch of sand with fewer people. The waves that came sweeping up the shore soaked their feet, shoes, and bottoms of Ayesha’s dress, but these folks were champs and took it in stride! And the rays of the morning sun lit up the beach in a warm glow, which made getting up at 6am totally worth it.
Afterwards, we headed up to the nearby Legion of Honor museum for a change of scenery.
Balaji said to me afterwards he didn’t realize photoshoots could be so fun. I couldn’t agree more! Balaji and Ayesha were an adorable couple and I had a great time capturing their love on camera. We even turned many laughs from a few failed poses into some memorable photographs! Thanks for making the early morning trek up to the city!
